This house is situated in the south of Goa in the taluka of Canacona. It has lush green mangroves and is skirted by green fields, the sea coast, and the hillocks. The twin villages of Mashem and Galgibaga have been divided by the Galgibaga river. The natural scenic beauty evokes the admiration of all passersby. The people are amiable, affectionate, caring, co-operative and supportive. The Provincial was keen on opening a house in Colva, but when she requested the Patriarch Archbishop of Goa, he expressed his desire that the Canossians work in an interior place. Knowing the Parish priest personally, he requested her to establish a community in his parish. The request was granted and the Canossians moved into Galgibaga in June 1986 and opened a House on 26th June 1986 with four sisters.

They are actively involved in teaching in the school, pastoral activities, animating small Christian communities, formation of the youth, visiting families. The Convent was built in 1991.
