“ Jesus is not loved because he is not known”.
Magdalene of Canossa
Charity, the love of God fully expressed in Christ crucified, was the inspiring motive of Magdalene of Canossa and the passion behind her ministry of evangelization.

Picture3She addressed herself to all kinds of people, but especially the little ones, the youth, the poor, those on the fringes of society and those who had not yet heard the Christian message.
In everything she did for the good of others, it was to bring them to encounter Jesus and to know deeply His love and compassion, stirring up within them the desire to respond to Him by loving Him and serving others.

We continue the mission of Magdalene, convinced that today, more than ever, people hunger for meaning and fulfilment in life, the true life that Jesus brings.

“ The joy of the Gospel fills the hearts and lives of all who encounter Jesus.
Those who accept his offer of salvation are set free from sin, sorrow,
inner emptiness and loneliness. With Christ joy is constantly born anew”.

(Evangelii Gaudium)

Evngelization 2Accepting the invitation of Magdalene, we look for ways to break open the Word of God in a language that is simple and accessible. We share the Good News of salvation with attention to the person in respect to their journey of faith and their gradual understanding of the Gospel message.

The diversity of ecclesial and cultural contexts leads us to be sensitive to the processes of enculturation, ecumenical and inter-religious dialogue and new evangelization.
